Beth Van Winkle receives TAA’s Frank P. Finch Presidential Award
TAA’s prestigious Frank P. Finch Presidential Award was presented to Beth Van Winkle, CAM, CAPS, CPM of Houston during the TAA Board of Directors meeting April 19 in San Antonio for her outstanding contributions to the association.This award is given annually to the volunteer who has given the most of themselves and whose work has had the most impact on TAA during the previous year.
Van Winkle is currently serving as a Vice President at Large on the TAA Executive Committee and will begin her term as the committee’s secretary on June 1. She will also serve as a member of the Budget and Finance Committee in 2012-2013.
Van Winkle has been a tireless volunteer for the association serving on a wide variety of committees and initiatives. In 2008-2009, she served as chair of the Membership Committee. In 2009-2010, she chaired the Military Careers Task Force, bringing a passionate commitment to the mission of the task force. Her drive led to the task force becoming an official committee of the TAA Education Foundation, and in 2011-2012, she chaired the committee, while also serving as chair of the Legislative Committee’s Ex-Offender Housing Subcommittee.
Van Winkle has set a high bar of service, and we greatly appreciate the time, effort and commitment she has made on behalf of our industry and the members of this association.
