During its meeting on February 21, the Texas Apartment Association Board of Directors recognized several local associations for membership growth, retention and revenue increases between December 2018 and December 2019.

Membership growth awards were presented to:

  • Corsicana Apartment Association, Associations up to 125 Members—six new members
  • Galveston County Apartment Association, Associations with 126-200 Members—26 new members
  • Tyler Apartment Association, Associations with 201-500 Members—49 new members
  • Houston Apartment Association, Associations with 500+ Members—27 new members

Membership retention awards were presented to:

  • North Texas Rental Properties Association, Associations up to 125 Members—100 percent retention
  • Piney Woods Apartment Association, Associations with 126-200 Members—97.16 percent retention
  • Permian Basin Apartment Association, Associations with 201-500 Members—96.69 percent retention
  • Lubbock Apartment Association, Associations with 500+ Members—93.06 percent retention

The TAA Membership Revenue Award for 2019 was awarded to the Tyler Apartment Association for the largest percent increase in billable dues—13.15 percent—during the 2019 calendar year.
