Keith Cooper, the TWC Investigator on Requests for Accommodation from the TWC perspective, will present for the first hour. (This portion is excellent for maintenance personnel as TWC is seeing a lot of complaints against maintenance personnel, or the maintenance person failed to report a request made by a disabled tenant).
The Law Offices of R. David Fritsche will present the Redbook portion immediately following the first presentation.
The 2024 REDBOOK Seminar focuses on three critical areas for rental housing professionals:
1. The Lease and the Leasing Process, including recent Lease changes and TAA’s new Master Lease Addendum
2. Evictions, including a detailed walk-through of the evictions process, a spotlight on common problem areas, the
CARES Act, new legislation regarding preemption of local ordinances, and the appeals process
3. Operational Issues, including fair housing, emotional support animals, lease termination and habitability

MEMBERS qualify for 8 CEC hours towards their credentials.
NON-MEMBERS qualify for 5 hours of real estate elective CE credit.
