TAA Legislative Housing Program: 2026-2027 Austin Housing Guide

Texas Apartment Association’s Legislative Housing Program has helped countless members and their staff locate apartments in Austin for the Legislative Session over the years, and we look forward to assisting you once more!

Included in the 2026-2027 Austin Housing Guide, you will find apartments in the Austin area that offer rental benefits and a furniture rental company. We’ve also included contact information for an apartment locator, Lisa Waltke with Four22 Realty, who can make your experience easier. Working with a locator is a free service to you and simplifies the apartment search process. Locators assist with searching for available apartment homes that are specific to your needs and often find available properties that may not be listed or are high in demand.

Each property in TAA’s Legislative Housing Program has agreed to:

• offer an initial lease term for 5-6 months
• waive mandatory advance notice on move-out due to the short lead time you will have in knowing whether special sessions will be called
• allow extensions of the lease to cover special sessions, should they be called at the close of the regular session.
