At TAA, we believe that strong communities are built not just through quality housing, but by empowering people to lead self-sufficient, productive lives. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight Entryway, a partner whose mission resonates deeply with our commitment to industry and community advancement. From career training to full-time job placement and stable housing, Entryway is driving real transformation for people facing housing insecurity—while building a talent pipeline that supports Texas’s rental housing industry.
Entryway offers more than a handout, they provide real change. Through skill-building, full-time job placement, and access to stable housing, they empower individuals to step into long-term self-sufficiency. Their approach aligns with our values at TAA: creating opportunity, building community, and delivering measurable, meaningful impact.
What sets Entryway apart is their unwavering dedication to Dignity, Accountability, and Opportunity. These guiding principles inform how they serve program participants, engage with industry partners, and foster a respectful, empowering culture within their organization. As they expand, these core values remain constant to ensure every person is treated with respect and equipped for success.
Their work isn’t just life-changing for individuals, it benefits our industry as well. By preparing motivated individuals for careers in property management, maintenance, leasing, and other vital roles, Entryway is helping fill workforce gaps while transforming lives across Texas and beyond. Their collaborative model brings together nonprofits, employers, volunteers, and sponsors to create meaningful, lasting partnerships, plus a pipeline of talent that benefits everyone involved.
We’re excited to share that Entryway has been selected as TAA’s 2025 charitable initiative by TAA President Renee Zahn with Greystar, and we look forward to supporting this important mission throughout the year. Thanks to the generosity of the TAA community and the leadership of the Texas Suppliers Council, chaired by Jackie Cagle with Rasa Floors, we’ve already raised more than $12,800 from over 100 donors. But we’re just getting started! Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of the year, and every dollar goes directly toward supporting training, housing, and employment for those working to overcome homelessness and achieve stability.
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to join us in supporting this vital work.
