TAA’s new free videos help educate residents about fire safety

Synopsis

The Texas Apartment Association is offering members new resources, including two free short videos, to help educate residents about fire safety so they can “Stay Safe.”

As the school year begins and many new residents are moving in, it’s a good time to remind residents to get familiar with their new surroundings and have a plan for what to do in the event of an emergency. The Texas Apartment Association is offering members access to two free short videos to help educate residents about fire safety so they can “Stay Safe.” In addition, TAA will be sharing tips on social media, and posting safety tips on the Helpful Info for Renters page on the TAA website.

Other good sources for fire safety tips include the Texas State Fire Marshal’s “Have an Exit Strategy” website and the National Fire Protection Association. TAA members may also want to consider highlighting safety efforts during National Fire Prevention Week, October 7-13.
