Through the Apartment Professionals Program, TAAEF is bringing new, hardworking-talent to the industry.
- Part of the Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation’s mission is to support formalized training programs, so that those who want to begin their career in the apartment industry can receive the training needed.
- TAAEF’s Apartment Professionals Program provides participants with critical skills training and connections to potential employers at the end of the course.
- At the TAA Education Conference & Lone Star Expo in San Antonio, TAAEF debuted a new video sharing the story of one man who found tremendous success after completing the program, and who has quickly grown in his career.
Careers in the apartment industry are portable, have a clear career path, advancement opportunities and provide full-time, year-round employment with benefits. The Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation (TAAEF), together with our partners, offer training opportunities in apartment maintenance and apartment leasing, and introduce new, top talent to everything our fast-growing industry has to offer.
“What is unique about this program is that participants not only receive critical skills to succeed in the industry, but are connected to employers throughout and at the end of the course,” says TAAEF President Tami Martin, CAM, CAMT, CAPS, NALP.
Last month at the Texas Apartment Association Education Conference & Lone Star Expo, TAAEF shared the story of Courtland Audain, who graduated from the Apartment Professionals Program in 2015. Now, three years later, he has quickly grown in his career and was nominated for both the Austin Apartment Association’s and TAA’s Maintenance Professional of the year awards.
We hope his story inspires you as much as it inspires us.
