TAA recognizes local associations for membership efforts

Synopsis

The Texas Apartment Association Board of Directors recognized several local associations in February for membership growth, retention and revenue increases between December 2019 and December 2020.

During its meeting on February 5, the Texas Apartment Association Board of Directors recognized several local associations for membership growth, retention and revenue increases between December 2019 and December 2020.

Membership growth awards were presented to:

  • Apartment Association of Southeast Texas, Associations with 126-200 Members—14 new members
  • Permian Basin Apartment Association, Associations with 201-500 Members—57 new members
  • San Antonio Apartment Association, Associations with 500+ Members—44 new members

Membership retention awards were presented to:

  • North Texas Rental Properties Association, Associations up to 125 Members—100 percent retention
  • Piney Woods Apartment Association, Associations with 126-200 Members—66 percent retention
  • Rio Grande Valley Apartment Association, Associations with 201-500 Members—40 percent retention
  • Apartment Association of Tarrant County, Associations with 500+ Members—43 percent retention

The TAA Membership Revenue Award for 2020 was awarded to the Corsicana Apartment Association for the largest percent increase in billable dues—10.46 percent—during the 2020 calendar year.
