Keep up with what’s happening in the Texas rental housing industry

[TAA coronavirus member update] Resources available to help you spread the word that rent relief funds are available

Request free resources to help renters learn about the Texas Rent Relief Program

Texas Rent Relief, a program of the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs, helps Texas renters in the state pay rent and utility bills, including past-due rent and utilities. The program has already paid out $380 million with another $100 million approved for distribution—and funds are still available.

Texas Apartment Association members can help spread the word about available assistance by distributing free printed program flyers and/or door hangers in your community.

Please complete this form by Wednesday, June 30 to request your free materials. (This will allow TDHCA to print one order in bulk.) Include your preferences, quantities, shipping address and main point of contact who should receive the shipment. Flyers are available in English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese and Mandarin; select the amount you’d like of each version.

You can also spread the word by sharing a few photos of the distributed flyers and/or door hangers in action around the community.

Read more about the program and check out the Texas Rent Relief Program digital outreach toolkit.
