Keep up with what’s happening in the Texas rental housing industry

Let the countdown begin…for the ONE Conference to attend in 2021

Synopsis

The end of 2020 is in sight—finally! As the countdown for 2021 begins, we’re counting down the reasons you’ll want to join us next April in San Antonio for the 2021 Texas Apartment Association ONE Conference & Expo.

Key takeaways

The end is in sight…for the last days of 2020, anyway. And it can’t come soon enough.

As we all look forward to saying “Bye” to this crazy year, we’re more excited about looking ahead to what we hope will be better days in 2021. We’re starting the traditional count down to the New Year a little early, but why not?

10 – Bye, bye, 2020! So long, budget season! We’ve made plans for our teams to be in San Antonio April 14-16 for the TAA ONE Conference. If you still need to make yours, check out the registration options and discounts available. Registration opens in mid-January!

9 – Hello, OPPORTUNITY to be together again with you all in ONE place—we’ve missed your faces, and we can’t wait to see you all again!

8 – What we need now more than ever—NETWORKING with our industry colleagues and supplier partners—we’re ONE industry! Just one example of some networking we’re looking forward to…pretending we’re playing golf at the TAA PAC Top Golf outing.

7 – What we can never have too much of—world-class EDUCATION close to home—more than 60 educational sessions to choose from, for a great price.

6 – Give us more of this, please—fresh insights and perspectives from industry and business leaders like Lisa Trosien, Valerie Sargent, Katie Rigsby, Rommel Anacan, Kristi Fickert, Jen Piccotti, Kara Rice, Steve Matre, Bill Nye, Michelle Wierzgac, Heather Blume, Jonathan Saar, Nina Troester, Michelle Molinaro and more!

5 – What else we need—inspiration! Served up hot and fresh by Food Network Star, chef, restauranteur and author Guy Fieri, the featured guest at the Conference General Opening Session, and Conference emcee and PBS “Daytripper” Chet Garner, who’ll help us navigate around the Conference’s main events.

4 – Absolutely needed now—new solutions for our companies and properties, which we’ll find at the ONE Expo, packed with the best products and services to keep our businesses competitive.

3 – Fun—we’ve missed you, Fun, looking forward to hanging out with you again. Join us at the Thursday Riverwalk Reunion Kickoff Party, with fabulous food and equally fabulous entertainment by Emerald City. And don’t miss Friday night’s Stars of Texas Leadership Celebration & Awards Dinner Gala, with after-program entertainment from Jessie’s Girls. Fun will be there.

2 – We want all this, and more. We want to feel safe at an “in-person” event—and we will, thanks to all the safety measures in place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio—including an air system that continuously cleans and circulates the air, ongoing UV-light sanitation at facility escalators, automatic temperature screening to enter the facility, contactless automatic doors, and more. Learn about all the safety measures in place here.
