Apply by July 31 for new NAA scholarship opportunities


The National Apartment Association has a new scholarship for industry professionals seeking to earn the CAM or CAPS designation. The application deadline is July 31.

The National Apartment Association has announced a new scholarship opportunity to increase diversity and inclusion in the rental housing profession by providing professional development opportunities. The scholarship fund was initiated by Alexandra Jackiw, CAPS, CPM®, a past chair of NAA and past president of the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI).

Scholarship winners will have course registration fees covered for the following NAAEI credentials programs: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS).

To be considered for the scholarship program, candidates must:

  • Complete an application form including a resume, personal statement and letter of reference from their supervisor or a senior level employee at their company;
  • Be a member of a racial/ethnic minority group, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender or a person with a disability; and
  • Be employed full-time as an early to mid-level apartment industry professional.
