Your health and safety is our priority. Important info about the 2020 TAA Conference.

The Texas Apartment Association is following guidelines in The Governor’s Report to Open Texas as well as the Fort Worth Convention Center Health & Safety Guidelines for our September 2-4 Education Conference & Lone Star Expo. We will make any necessary adjustments if circumstances change in the upcoming weeks, and update our plans here. Of course, we’ll also communicate any changes to our Conference registrants, sponsors, exhibitors and members.

Bottom line

We are planning a full, enriching and safe experience for Conference attendees. Arrive early and give yourself ample time to check in—this is THE most important thing you can do!

  • Temperatures of all attendees will be checked at the entrance of the Fort Worth Convention Center.
  • Check-in lines for badge pick-up and registration will follow physical distancing restrictions. Hand sanitizer and masks will be available, though you may want to bring your own as well.
  • Seating will be limited in sessions to reflect capacity limitations.

Participant responsibilities

Temperature checks

will be required for all attendees/exhibitors. You will be denied entry to the property if you refuse this temperature check.

Physical Distancing

Guests and employees will be advised to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from other guests while standing in lines, using elevators and escalators or moving around the property. Registration, room setups, exhibitions as well as all other physical layouts will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at key guest and employee contact areas such as entrances, concourses, meal functions, concessions stands and restrooms. Conference registrants will receive hand sanitizer with their registration materials.
