Texans take leadership positions at the national level

Several TAA members will be stepping up to the plate in 2012, serving in leadership positions for the National Apartment Association.

TAA Past President Brad Williams, CPM of Dallas, will serve as the 2012 NAA Vice Chairman. Williams, a regional vice president for Lincoln Property Company, has more than 30 years of experience in property management and has been active at the local, state and national association levels. He is a past president of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas, served as the 2005-2006 president of the Texas Apartment Association and currently serves on TAA’s Executive Committee. Williams also served three years as the chairman of the NAA PAC.

Marc Ross of San Antonio was named as NAA’s 2012 Secretary at the recent NAA Assembly of Delegates meeting in Atlanta on November 5. Ross is president of Bob Ross Realty and is a past president of the San Antonio Apartment Association. He served as the 2003-2004 president of the Texas Apartment Association and currently serves on TAA’s Executive Committee, and served NAA as a Region VI Vice President.

NAA delegates for Region 6 voted in October at the NAA Regional Meeting in Lubbock to elect new Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs). The new voting RVPS for Region 6 are: Jeff Lowry, CAPS, McDougal Companies; Gary Blumberg, CPA, Guardian Equity Management, LLC; and Mike Clark, HCCP, Alpha-Barnes Real Estate Services. John Ridgway, CPM, Celtic Realty Advisors, LLC, is the alternate RVP for Region 6.

Margette Getto, Vice President of National Accounts for The Apartment Guide in Carrollton, will serve as the NAA National Suppliers Council Chair. TAA congratulates these outstanding members on their service to the association!
